ABOUT ME

Hi!

My name is Rafael Egea. I come from southern Spain, but currently live in Berlin, Germany. After a long career in the aviation sector, I decided to follow my passion for design and technology. I discovered the world of UX Design and also started to learn how to develop websites and applications with HTML, CSS and Python.

As I wanted to deep deeper into UX Design, I enrolled on a course at the UX Design Institute , and obtained my professional diploma in UX Design, certified by the Glasgow Caledonian University, studying and creating the projects for the course on my time off from work and family life.

From my experience as flight attendant I can bring some really valuable skills for an UX designer, like the ability to work under pressure on a fast-paced environment, great communication skills, and a genuine will to understand the problems that users face and support them at every step of the way.

In my free time I like practising sports, like cycling, climbing and snowboarding. I also love music, literature and art. With a background in the aviation industry I couldn't help to add that another one of my passions is traveling to different countries and experience their culture, food and landscapes.

Check out my Linkedin profile for more information about me, or take a look at my resume.
